Elevate Your Home Decor and Your Mindset with a Statue of Aristotle

by Susan Harold 06 Mar 2023 0 comments

Let's face it, philosophy can be pretty boring. All those long-winded arguments and deep contemplations can put even the most enthusiastic learner to sleep. But not Aristotle! The Greek philosopher had a witty sense of humor that was just as sharp as his intellect. He believed that humor was an essential part of a well-lived life, and often incorporated it into his teachings. Here are some of his favorite quotes, and their unique applications in today's world.

Aristotle statue

"Excellence is never an accident. It is always the result of high intention, sincere effort, and intelligent execution; it represents the wise choice of many alternatives - choice, not chance, determines your destiny."

Translation: Don't rely on luck to get what you want. Put in the hard work, make smart choices, and your destiny will be in your hands.

Application: This quote is perfect for anyone looking to succeed in life, whether it be in their career, relationships, or personal goals. Hang a statue of Aristotle in your home as a reminder to work hard and make smart choices.

"Pleasure in the job puts perfection in the work."

Translation: Enjoy what you do, and you'll do it better.

Application: Whether you're a student, employee, or entrepreneur, finding pleasure in what you do is key to achieving success. Put a statue of Aristotle in your office as a reminder to find joy in your work.

"Friendship is a single soul dwelling in two bodies."

Translation: True friends are like one person split into two bodies.

Application: This quote is perfect for anyone looking to strengthen their friendships. Give a statue of Aristotle to your best friend as a symbol of your deep connection.

"To be conscious of being, you need to reclaim consciousness from the mind."

Translation: Your mind is not the same as your consciousness.

Application: This quote is perfect for anyone looking to find inner peace and clarity. Display a statue of Aristotle in your meditation space as a reminder to focus on your consciousness, not just your thoughts.

Now that you've learned a bit about Aristotle's wit and wisdom, why not bring his teachings into your home with a beautiful statue? A statue of Aristotle would not only serve as a beautiful piece of decor, but also as a reminder of the importance of humor, hard work, and friendship in our lives. The statue would be a great conversation starter at your next party, and a perfect gift for anyone interested in philosophy or ancient history. So why not invest in a piece of history and humor? A statue of Aristotle is sure to bring a smile to your face, and inspire you to be the best version of yourself.

What is Lorem Ipsum? Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry's standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum. Why do we use it? It is a long established fact that a reader will be distracted by the readable content of a page when looking at its layout. The point of using Lorem Ipsum is that it has a more-or-less normal distribution of letters, as opposed to using 'Content here, content here', making it look like readable English. Many desktop publishing packages and web page editors now use Lorem Ipsum as their default model text, and a search for 'lorem ipsum' will uncover many web sites still in their infancy. Various versions have evolved over the years, sometimes by accident, sometimes on purpose (injected humour and the like).
