Finish Options

Many of our pieces are hand-finished to order, which means you choose how yours is coloured and aged. Two finish systems apply, and which one you see depends on the material of the piece you are buying.

Before you choose

• Check indoor or outdoor. All Fiber Stone finishes are safe outdoors. Of the fiberglass finishes, the 13 standard options work indoors or out, while the 9 metallic options are for indoor use only.
• Each piece is unique. Finishes are applied by hand, so yours will match the finish shown closely but not identically. Small variations are part of the handmade character, not defects.
• Not every finish suits every piece. Your product page lists the finishes available for that item.

Fiber Stone finishes

Fiber Stone is stone cast directly into the surface then reinforced with a fiberglass backing, and carefully stained to give the appearance of age. The result is lightweight, safe for outdoor use, and less fragile than concrete. All 13 finishes are suitable outdoors.

Fiberglass finishes

Fiberglass pieces are available in 22 finishes. The 13 standard finishes are suitable for indoor and outdoor use. The 9 metallic finishes are for indoor use only.

These 9 metallic finishes are not rated for outdoor exposure. Please choose a standard fiberglass or Fiber Stone finish for garden and patio pieces.

How to specify your finish

Choose your finish on the product page before adding the item to your cart. If a finish is not selected, we will contact you to confirm it before production begins, which adds time to your order.

Made-to-order pieces take 4 to 16 weeks to arrive, and production does not start until the finish is confirmed. Selecting it at checkout is the quickest route to receiving your piece.
